24 Ambassadors Present Credentials to King Salman

Ambassadors from 24 countries presented on Wednesday their credentials to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The ceremony was held virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and Minister of State and member of cabinet Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban were present.

King Salman welcomed the ambassador to the Kingdom, wishing their countries progress and prosperity.

The new ambassadors represent Mexico, the Ivory Coast, United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Italy, Peru, Sudan, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, Tajikistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Uganda, Greece, Myanmar, Tunisia, Latvia, Rwanda, Oman, Malta, Estonia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and the European Union.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call on Saturday from UK's Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

During the call, they discussed the latest developments in the region, including the repercussions of Israeli military operations against Iran, SPA reported.

They emphasized the importance of making every effort to de-escalate the situation and resolve differences through diplomatic means.
