King Salman Orders Holding Current Academic Year Final Exams ahead of Schedule

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz ordered on Thursday holding the final exams for the second semester of the current academic year 2020/2021 ahead of schedule, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The Royal Order stipulated completing all the final exams before the start of the Eid al-Fitr holiday that marks the holy fasting month of Ramadan, which is set to begin in mid-April.

Based on a proposal submitted by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in his capacity as Chairman of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development, the Royal Order reflects King Salman’s keenness on ensuring the interests of students throughout the Kingdom.

Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir met on Wednesday with the French President's Special Envoy for Lebanon, Jean-Yves Le Drian.

This came on the sidelines of the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII8) Conference.
During the meeting, they discussed the current developments in Lebanon.
