Palestinian activists resumed on Saturday flying incendiary balloons towards Israeli settlements after tension escalated in Jerusalem.
“Jihadi Barq” Unit announced on Saturday launching huge batches of incendiary balloons towards the settlements as an objection over the Israeli crimes against Al-Aqsa Mosque and Sheikh Jarrah.
Several fires broke out in the forests bordering the Gaza Strip as well as in some Israeli communities that reported damage to agricultural fields.
The "night confusion units" were activated in addition to launching incendiary balloons and cutting the border fence.
Such practices were halted last year when Israel and “Hamas” reached a truce that was brokered by Egypt.
