Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Receives Phone Call from US National Security Advisor

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received a telephone call from US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported Thursday.

Sullivan hailed UAE's efforts to reach a ceasefire and push towards a political solution to the conflict in the Ethiopian Tigray region, WAM said.

Sheikh Mohamed and Sullivan stressed the importance of providing humanitarian assistance to the people in Tigray who are suffering from difficult living conditions, it said.

They discussed ways of bolstering friendship and cooperation ties between the UAE and the US in order to serve their mutual interests and maintain security and stability in the region, WAM added.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 120 tents and 290 shelter kits in the Al-Madina and Al-Wadi districts of Yemen’s Marib Governorate, benefiting 290 families, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
This distribution is part of a project in Yemen securing emergency aid and shelter materials.
The initiative of the Saudi aid agency is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to assist vulnerable individuals and families in Yemen amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis
