Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, made a phone call Friday to Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

During the call, the Crown Prince congratulated Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali on the occasion of winning a second term as Prime Minister of Ethiopia, wishing success for his country and further progress and prosperity for the people of Ethiopia.

They also discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.

Prime Minister of Afghanistan Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund received on Tuesday Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa at the Gul Khana Palace at the presidential compound in Kabul.

They discussed several issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of the role of Muslim scholars in addressing major and critical matters through effective dialogue to achieve tangible, positive outcomes.

Al-Issa arrived in Kabul on Monday on an official visit during which he will meet with senior government leaders and religious scholars.
