The UAE will join Saudi Arabia in celebrating the Kingdom's 91st National Day on September 23, under the slogan "Together Forever," confirming the deep ties between the two countries.

Several Emirati landmarks were lit up in green with the Saudi flag as part of the country's participation in celebrating the Kingdom's National Day.

Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, displayed an image of the Saudi flag, and the landmarks of the Dubai Financial Center were colored with the flags of the two countries.

Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister, conveyed his best wishes to the Saudi leadership.

"The Saudi National Day every year is an occasion dear to all of us. An occasion in which we renew brotherhood and establish love and proceed from it towards a better and more beautiful future of two peoples united by ambition that knows no bounds," Sheikh Mohammed wrote on Twitter.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated in a tweet the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, and the Saudi people on their 91st National Day.

"Our two nations stand as one, and we celebrate all your achievements. We look forward to a bright future together."

Saudi Arabia is the leading Arab trade partner of the UAE and its third international trading partner, accounting for 7 percent of the UAE's international non-oil trade, according to a reported by state news agency WAM.

The two countries have the two largest Arab economies and are among the top 10 exporters in the world, with a total export size of nearly $750 billion in 2018.

UAE Pro League announced that ADNOC Pro League's fifth match week will be held under the motto "Saudi National Day" to celebrate the 91st National Day with their Saudi brothers.

Saudi Arabian flag will be raised at Emirati stadiums along with the display of congratulatory messages on the venues' screens to emphasize the long deep-rooted relationship between the two gulf countries that will remain side by side always and forever.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry praised on Wednesday the measures Jordan has taken to thwart plots aimed at undermining its security.

The Kingdom expressed its support for the steps the Jordanian government will take to consolidate its security.

Saudi Arabia stands in solidarity with Jordan against anything that may harm its security and stability, added the ministry.

Jordan arrested 16 members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood who were trained and financed in Lebanon and had plotted attacks on targets inside the kingdom involving rockets and drones, authorities said on Tuesday.

The authorities said at least one rocket was ready to be launched as part of an operation that had been under surveillance by security forces since 2021.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s political arm in Jordan the Islamic Action Front became the largest political grouping in the parliament after last September's parliamentary elections, although most seats are still held by government supporters.

Security forces found a rocket manufacturing facility alongside a drone factory, according to a statement by the General Intelligence Department released on state media.

"The plot aimed at harming national security, sowing chaos and causing material destruction inside the kingdom," the statement said.

The suspects were referred to the state security court for trial.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told his Jordanian counterpart in a phone call his country was ready to cooperate with Jordanian authorities, shortly after suspects shown in a video aired by Amman said they had been trained in Lebanon.
