Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, stressed on Wednesday that coordination between the Kingdom and United Arab Emirates is ongoing in all fields.
The talks we held in the UAE underscore efforts to bolster relations, he added.
Crown Prince Mohammed departed the UAE on Wednesday that was the second stop of a tour of the Gulf that he kicked off on Monday. His next destination is Qatar.
In the UAE, he held talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan on Tuesday. Their discussions focused on bilateral relations and strategic cooperation between their countries.
They stressed the importance of activating joint Gulf and Arab work. They also reviewed various regional and international issues. They underscored the need to consolidate regional stability that would form the foundation for development and progress.
Sheikh Mohammed had bestowed Crown Prince Mohammed with the Order of Zayed, which is granted to kings and heads of state, in recognition of the strength of the bonds between Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Before concluding his UAE visit, Crown Prince Mohammed had visited Expo 2020 Dubai where he held talks with Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum.
The Dubai ruler said the world should stay tuned to Expo 2030 that Riyadh is aspiring to host through the efforts of Crown Prince Mohammed.
