Saudi Arabia Records over 1,000 COVID-19 Infections in 24 Hours

Saudi Arabia recorded over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

The Health Ministry announced 1,024 new coronavirus infections, including 69 critical cases.

The new infections raised the total number of registered COVID cases in the Kingdom to 588,106.

Also, 298 have fully recovered from COVID, raising the total number of recoveries to 542, 413.

The Health Ministry reported the death of one individual, taking death toll to 8,879.

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has met with Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Richard Marles in Riyadh.

The two ministers discussed bilateral relations in the defense sector, reviewed recent regional and global developments, and the efforts made to support security and stability.

They also discussed several issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both sides.
