Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks in Athens on Tuesday with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
Discussions focused on bilateral relations and ways to bolster them in all fields.
They also tackled international and regional issues of interest.
They underlined the importance of the positive coordination between Riyadh and Athens over regional and international issues, ways to bolster security and stability and combat terrorism in the Middle East and world.
They exchanged views over the stumbling Vienna negotiations over Iran's nuclear deal.
They stressed the importance of supporting international efforts aimed at preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. They also stressed the need to confront Iran's violations of the deal that contradict its statements over the peacefulness of its nuclear program.
Prince Faisal and Dendias also discussed opportunities to develop economic and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Greece in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
