An animal welfare association rushed to pick up a chicken “caught sneaking around the security area at the Pentagon," one of the world’s most secured buildings ever, according to Agence France Press (AFP).

“Our officers were called to come pick her up,” said the Animal Welfare League of Arlington in its Facebook page.

“Did the chicken simply got lost while crossing the street or was in fact a spy on a mission to steal some state secrets? Until now, it didn’t open its beak to answer these questions,” The Military Times newspaper jokingly reported.

Internet users suggested the chicken should be named after Ethel Rosenberg, a US woman arrested and executed for spying for the Soviet Union in the 1950s.

The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) branch in Aseer Region launched an environmental project to plant one million seedlings in almadra forest in Mahayel Aseer Governorate, located 80 km northwest of Abha.

This comes in support of the Saudi Green Initiative, according to SPA.
The project aims to promote community engagement by involving local volunteer teams in planting efforts.

The main goal targets reducing carbon emissions, restoring plant biodiversity, combating climate change, and supporting ecotourism activities in the region.
