The Saudi-led Arab coalition said on Monday an armed drone crashed in the Kingdom's Jazan region.

The aircraft was launched from Yemen's Sanaa International Airport in an attack aimed at targeting civilians, it added.

No one was injured in the incident. No material damage was reported.

The coalition warned that it will carry out a military operation in retaliation to the attack in order to neutralize the threat of the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen.
