Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, launched on Friday the campaign of the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan).

They donated 50 million riyals for the campaign, which is being held for a second consecutive year.

The donation reflects the wise leadership's keenness on supporting charitable work and on encouraging values of giving, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and chairman of the Ehsan Supervisory Committee, Abdullah Al-Ghamdi expressed his gratitude to the leadership for their generous donation.

SDAIA launched the National Campaign for Charitable Work for the second year as an extension of the great turnout that the campaign enjoyed in its first year during Ramadan.

The campaign allows philanthropists, financiers, and donors to make their donations in a reliable and secure digital way to the various charitable opportunities and fields offered by the Ehsan platform.

The Ehsan platform is monitored by a supervisory committee of 12 government agencies and a Sharia committee chaired by the advisor in the Royal Court and member of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Mutlaq.

Since its launch, it received over $380 million in donations.
