Saudi Arabia and Kuwait stressed on Wednesday their right to exploit the natural resources in the Durra field.

They invited Iran to negotiations over the delineation of the eastern border of the Submerged Divided Zone.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry tweeted that the Kingdom and Kuwait had signed a Memorandum of Understanding on March 21 on expediting the development of the field.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait stress their right to exploit the wealth in this region and they will do so in line with the MoU.

The Ministry added that Riyadh and Kuwait had each previously called on Iran to negotiate over the delimitation of the eastern boundary, but it has ignored them.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait again urged Iran, as a negotiating party, to engage in these talks.
