Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks in Abu Dhabi on Saturday with Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Al- Alimi.
Talks focused on bilateral relations and several regional and international issues of interest.
They also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the holiday marking the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, which falls on Monday.
Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Alimi on his appointment as head of the PLC that will lead Yemen's transition.
He wished him and the Yemeni people success in overcoming their country's crisis so that peace and stability can be restored.
He underscored the United Arab Emirates' support to the council as it carries out its national duties to achieve Yemen's stability and security and the aspirations of its people.
The UAE will not spare an effort in providing all the possible support to Yemen on all levels, he stressed, underlining the strong fraternal and historic relations between their countries.
Alimi, for his part, expressed his appreciation for the UAE's constant support to the Yemeni people.
