The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 14 tons and 231 kilograms of food baskets to needy groups in the directorate of Dhibab and Mayon Island in Taiz governorate, Yemen, benefiting 1,200 people, the Saudi Press Agency reported Saturday.

This comes within the framework of the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and meet their basic food needs, SPA said.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of condolences to US President Joe Biden on the victims of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said: "We have learned of the news of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans, resulting in deaths and injuries. As we condemn this heinous act, we express to Your Excellency, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of the United States of America our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. We wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
According to SPA, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has also sent a cable of condolences to Biden, saying: "I have learned of the news of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans, resulting in deaths and injuries. As I condemn this act, I express to Your Excellency, and the US friendly people my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. I wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
