Saudi Crown Prince, British PM Discuss Developing Relations

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, held telephone talks on Monday with British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

Discussions focused on developing relations between Saudi Arabia and Britain as part of their strategic partnership council.

Crown Prince Mohammed offered his condolences to Truss over the death of Queen Elizabeth and congratulated her on Charles’ ascension to the throne.

He also congratulated her on her election as prime minister, wishing her success in her duties and saying he looks forward to working together for the interests of their countries and peoples.

For her part, Truss expressed her gratitude to Crown Prince Mohammed for his role in the recent prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine that included the release of five Britons.

MWL Secretary-General Congratulates Saudi Leadership on Successful Hajj

Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa extended on Sunday his congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as to the Saudi people and the entire Islamic nation, on the success of this year's Hajj.

He said the pilgrimage was marked by security and seamless service integration.

On behalf of all MWL agencies, Al-Issa praised the generous care and exceptional attention provided to the pilgrims.

He highlighted the outstanding organization, smooth movement between the holy sites, and the unwavering commitment to ensuring pilgrims' comfort, allowing them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
