UNA, Islamic Organization for Food Security Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

The Union of OIC News Agencies (UNA) concluded on Sunday a memorandum of cooperation with the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) to enhance cooperation between the two bodies operating within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The memorandum was signed by UNA Acting Director-General Muhammad bin Abd Rabbo Al-Yami and the IOFS chief, Yerlan Baidolet, during his visit to UNA's headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The IOFS is a specialized institution of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) concerned with promoting agricultural and rural development and food security in Islamic countries, with its headquarters in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini at the Egyptian government headquarters. Dr. Madbouly expressed his best wishes for the ambassador's success and underscored the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries. He also emphasized Egypt's aspiration to further strengthen their existing strategic cooperation across various fields.
Dr. Madbouly reiterated Egypt's commitment to supporting Saudi investments in the country and following up on previous agreements, including the electrical interconnection project and collaborations in renewable energy, SPA reported.
Ambassador Al-Husseini expressed his appreciation for the warm reception he received in Egypt, emphasizing the strong and brotherly relations between the two countries at both official and popular levels.

He stressed his eagerness to continue strengthening bilateral relations in line with the directives of both nations' leaderships.
