Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf confirmed the support of his organization for all international efforts aiming to enhance security and stability in Yemen and achieve development and inclusive peace in the country.

This came during a meeting with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh.

During the meeting, Al-Hajraf and Grundberg reviewed the efforts and initiatives presented by the GCC aiming to achieve security, stability and peace in Yemen.

Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met on Wednesday at his office in Jeddah with Hungarian counterpart Kristَof Szalay-Bobrovniczky.

During the meeting, the defense ministers discussed relations between Saudi Arabia and Hungary, especially in defense fields, and addressed regional and international developments alongside efforts made to address them, the Saudi Press Agency reported Thursday.

Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf and several officials from both countries attended the meeting.
