Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir held talk in Riyadh on Sunday with United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Joanna Wronecka.

The talks focused on cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the UN and the latest developments in Lebanon and the efforts exerted towards them.

Wronecka also met with deputy Foreign Minister Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji to discuss cooperation between the Kingdom and the UN and the latest regional and international developments of interest.

The Saudi-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council, chaired by Committee Chairman and Shura Council member Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Qannas, convened in Riyadh for a meeting with its counterpart from the Turkish Grand National Assembly, led by Committee Chairman Nureddin Nebati.

The meeting was attended by members of both parliamentary groups, including representatives from the Shura Council and the Turkish-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Group, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

Talks focused on issues of mutual interest between Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. Officials reviewed cooperation across various fields and explored avenues for strengthening joint efforts and parliamentary collaboration.

Particular emphasis was placed on fostering closer ties between the Shura Council and the Turkish Grand National Assembly to support broader frameworks of cooperation.

Discussions also covered shared interests in various sectors, reflecting the commitment of both nations to deepening their strategic partnership.
