Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said arrived on Monday in Bahrain on a two-day official visit.
His visit comes at the invitation of Bahrain's King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifah.
The talks between the two officials are set to tackle cooperation at various levels between the two countries, and the means to develop them to better levels.
The Omani Royal Court announced the visit in an earlier statement and said that it “aims at consolidating historic ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the brotherly Bahrain Kingdom out of their leadership’s keenness to strengthen them,” and advance cooperation at various levels to serve the interests of both peoples.
The Bahraini Royal Court said that the Bahraini King will receive the Sultan and the accompanying delegation upon their arrival in the country on Monday.
