The Saudi leadership congratulated on Saturday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of his country's Republic Day.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of congratulations to Erdogan, wishing him constant good health and the government and friendly people of Türkiye steady progress and prosperity.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent Erdogan a similar cable.

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi welcomed the completion of negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, leading to a peace agreement.
In a press statement, Albudaiwi expressed hope that the agreement would mark a new phase in building strong relations between the two friendly countries based on cooperation and mutual respect and characterized by security and stability.
