A Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) group participating in Falcon Eye 3 Air Drill has arrived at the Souda Air Base on the Greek island of Crete, where the exercise is scheduled to start next week.

The Air Force is participating in the drill with F-15 fighter jets and their entire air, technical, and support crews.

Commander of the Air Force Group Colonel Khalifa al-Enezi explained that these maneuvers are an extension of the "Ain al-Saqr" drills carried out alternately in Saudi Arabia and Greece.

He explained that the maneuvers aimed to enhance cooperation between the Greek and Saudi air forces and raise combat readiness.

Enezi noted that RSAF held coordination meetings with the Greek Air Force ahead of the maneuvers, which focused on the working mechanism and the quality of the participating aircraft and their numbers.

The meeting resulted in a full program that includes all sorts of training to refine and develop the skills of the air, technical, and support crews to exchange expertise in the available fields.

The Air Force group was received by Chargé d'Affairs at the Saudi Embassy Ahed bin Hamad, Commander Enezi, the Commander of the Souda Air Base, Colonel Pilot Christos Grigoriadis, and the Defense Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Greece, Colonel Pilot Rashed al-Aboudi.
