Latin American Countries Recognize Saudi Islamic Affairs Minister’s Role in Promoting Tolerance

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Endowment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh has been recognized as the most influential personality in promoting moderate Islam by the Standing Commission of the Islamic Call Center for Latin America and the Caribbean Sea Countries. Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Endowment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh has been recognized as the most influential personality in promoting moderate Islam by the Standing Commission of the Islamic Call Center for Latin America and the Caribbean Sea Countries, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.


He was awarded the most influential personality shield 2022 for his great efforts in confronting hatred, spreading tolerance and consolidating moderate values of Islam.


He was also recognized for his prominent role in staying steadfast against fanatics and extremists throughout his 35-year career.


The award was received on behalf of the minister by Undersecretary of the Ministry for Islamic Affairs Sheikh Awad bin Sebti Al-Enezy on the sidelines of the 35th international conference for Muslims of Latin America and the Caribbean Sea Countries.
