Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received in Doha on Monday United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

Meeting at the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Tamim congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on the 51st National Day of the UAE, hoping that this visit would contribute to the development of joint cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries, pushing it to a broader level. 

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Qatar for its ongoing hosting of the FIFA World Cup 2022, and its exceptional success in organizing and hosting this landmark global event, reported Qatar's state news agency (QNA).

The leaders discussed the brotherly bilateral relations between their countries and ways to support and consolidate them in various fields, especially in strengthening cooperation for the good and interest of the two brotherly people and strengthening joint Gulf action.  

They reviewed regional and international developments and exchanged views on a number of current issues of common concern.

The eighth Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived Thursday at Damascus International Airport in Syria, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies.
This assistance is an extension of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support those in need worldwide during crises.
