GCC Expresses Solidarity with Jordan against Attempts to Destabilize it

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) expressed on Monday its solidarity with Jordan against all attempts aimed at destabilizing it and undermining its security. 

GCC Secretary-General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf said the GCC is firm in condemning all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism. 

He added that the organization stands by Jordan in all the measures it takes to ensure the security and safety of its citizens and residents. 

He praised the vigilance of the Jordanian security forces in addressing the situation, urging the need to bolster international cooperation in confronting terrorism and drying up its sources of financing.

Saudi King Receives Written Message from Emir of Kuwait

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received a written message from Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, inviting him to attend the 45th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which will be held in Kuwait.
The message was delivered to Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member, during his meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday with the Kuwaiti Emir’s envoy, Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The two sides exchanged cordial discussions and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
