Saudi Arabia strongly condemned on Thursday the attack on Azerbaijan’s embassy in the Iranian capital Tehran.

The Foreign Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Azerbaijan and its people, calling for respecting diplomatic missions and the punishment of the perpetrators.

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf slammed the attack, urging the need to protect diplomatic missions in line with diplomatic norms and treaties.

He underlined the solidarity of the GCC with Azerbaijan.

Kuwait and Jordan also condemned the attack.

Kuwait underscored its firm rejection of violence and terrorism, stressing its solidarity with Azerbaijan.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said the kingdom rejects all forms of violence, especially those that target diplomatic missio

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of condolences to US President Joe Biden on the victims of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques said: "We have learned of the news of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans, resulting in deaths and injuries. As we condemn this heinous act, we express to Your Excellency, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of the United States of America our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. We wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
According to SPA, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has also sent a cable of condolences to Biden, saying: "I have learned of the news of the terrorist incident that took place in the city of New Orleans, resulting in deaths and injuries.
