Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz confirmed that the anniversary of the Kingdom’s founding day evokes historical stories and epics written by the imams and kings of Saudi Arabia.

Prince Khalid said that the Kingdom’s imams and monarchs had established for Saudis “a lofty homeland, whose pillar is faith in God, and its foundation is science, knowledge and unity of the word.”

The minister noted that Saudi Arabia has become a home for glory, security, and stability.

Prince Khalid’s remarks were made in a congratulatory speech directed at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

“The Defense Ministry derives from this occasion well-established values and meanings. It narrates in its path, origins, and stages of development, the march of the history of the fathers and grandfathers in defending the homeland with determination and faith,” said Prince Khalid.

“With the depth of insight of our wise leadership, and the determination of our people, we continue under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince the process of construction, growth and prosperity,” added the minister.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed shopping vouchers on Thursday, enabling beneficiaries to purchase winter clothing of their choice from authorized stores in the Amman and Madaba governorates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
A total of 1,055 individuals, representing 191 Palestinian refugee families, benefited from this distribution as part of the third phase of the Winter Clothing Distribution Project (Kanaf) for the year 2025, the Saudi Press Agency said on Saturday.
In Lebanon, KSrelief has continued the fourth phase of the Al-Amal Charity Bakery project in Akkar Governorate and Miniyeh District.
Last week, the initiative distributed 175,000 bags of bread to Syrian, Palestinian, and host community families across northern Lebanon, benefiting 12,500 households, which represent 62,500 individuals.
These efforts are part of the Kingdom’s ongoing relief and humanitarian initiatives, delivered through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to assist those in need and affected populations, especially during the harsh winter cold wave.
