Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Monday a telephone call from his Japanese counterpart Yoshimasa Hayashi.

Talks focused on cooperation between their countries and ways to develop it further.

They also tackled efforts to halt the military escalation in Sudan, putting an end to the violence, providing the necessary protection to Sudanese civilians and easing the growing tensions in several vital areas in Sudan.

Head of the Hajj and Visit Organization in the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Alireza Bayat praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving pilgrims, noting that the Hajj season 1446 AH was marked by exceptional quality at all stages.

In a statement to the SPA, Dr. Bayat commended the meticulous organization at Saudi border crossings and the outstanding services provided.

He expressed appreciation for the high standard of services during the season, particularly highlighting the efficiency of air transportation programs, crowd management at the holy sites, and the implementation of health measures.

He emphasized that Iranian pilgrims expressed full satisfaction with the quality of services and organization, adding that the standards set by the Kingdom represent a model for excellence in serving pilgrims.
