Saudi Arabia Renews Call for De-escalation in Sudan

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met in Riyadh on Sunday with Special Envoy of the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan Ambassador Dafallah Al-Haj Ali.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Sudan.

Prince Faisal reiterated the Kingdom's call to resort to de-escalation, consider national interests and halt all forms of military escalation in Sudan.

Assistant Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ambassador Dr. Sami Al-Saleh attended the meeting.

They also discussed bilateral ties and the strategic partnership between their countries.
