More than 170,000 people have benefited from the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) for Agricultural Projects in northern Syria, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Saturday.
The “Improving the Living and Empowering the Community” project benefited 175,168 people through the distribution of cooking gas canisters and diesel fuel for the operation of irrigation pumps in the first half of October.
KSRelief distributed 41,800 liters of diesel, which went to 167,938 individuals in the towns of Mare, Khalidiya, Mahmidiyah, Haraz River and Kafr al-Ward.
In the city of Bab and the town of Kassin in the northern Aleppo countryside, the Center distributed 1,500 gas cylinders for cooking, benefiting 7,230 people.
