The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced late on Monday that it had downed a drone flown by the Iran-backed Houthi militias towards Saudi Arabia.
Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that the drone was flown at civilian targets.
The criminal terrorist Houthis continue to launch drones to carry out hostile and criminal acts against civilians and civilian facilities, he added.
None of the drones have reached their targets, he stressed.
The coalition will continue to take deterrent measures against this terrorist militia and neutralize its capabilities in line with International Humanitarian Law, Maliki vowed.
