King Salman Approves Several Development Projects at Prophet’s Mosque

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz approved on Tuesday several development projects at the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Madinah.

In a tweet, the Emarat Al Madinah said King Salman approved projects to develop operation and electromechanical systems, and others.

These projects will be executed according to the highest global standards, it added.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received in Riyadh on Tuesday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations between their countries, aspects of cooperation and promising opportunities to further develop ties across various fields.

They also discussed regional and international developments and efforts made towards them.

The meeting was attended by several Saudi officials, including Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Investment Khalid al-Falih, and Minister of Finance Mohammed al-Jadaan.

Turkish officials at the meeting included Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar and Minister of Defense Yaşar Güler.

Saudi Arabia Condemns Terrorist Attack on Niamey Airport in Niger

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack that targeted Diori Hamani Airport in Niamey, the capital of Niger.

The Kingdom reaffirmed on Tuesday its firm stance against all forms of violence and extremism, particularly attacks targeting civilians.

It extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Niger, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held telephone talks on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin on regional and international developments.

They discussed issues of common interest and bilateral relations between their countries. They tackled means to develop cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Russia.

The Kremlin said the leaders agreed to take joint steps to deepen cooperation on the political, trade, economic and humanitarian levels.
