The Saudi-led Arab coalition downed on Friday four booby-trapped drones flown by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards Saudi Arabia.
Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said three of the aircraft were destroyed in Yemeni airspace.
He hailed the high competency of the joint forces in confronting and deterring such threats by monitoring and destroying them directly after they are launched from Houthi-held regions.
Malki stressed that the coalition is taking all necessary measures to protect civilians in line with international humanitarian law.
