Saudi Arabia reported on Monday 4,207 new coronavirus cases, raising its total to 213,716.
In a daily briefing on the outbreak, the Health Ministry said 437 of the infections were reported in al-Qatif, 364 in Khamis Mushait, 330 in Riyadh, 293 in al-Dammam, 279 in al-Taef, 209 in Jeddah, 147 in the holy city of Makkah and 59 in Madinah.
It revealed 4,398 recoveries were registered, taking the tally to 149,634.
Fifty-two more fatalities were confirmed. The death toll now stands at 1,968.
