He underlined Saudi Arabia’s regional and international standing and its pivotal role in the group and drive for more global cooperation and pursuit of collective solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

The cabinet then addressed the latest local and international developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic and efforts underway to ensure that Saudi Arabia will be among the first countries to receive a vaccine.

The ministers also stressed the Kingdom’s keenness on expanding cooperation with Iraq to bolster their common interests in all fields, hailing the reopening of the Arar border crossing between their countries.
