Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has held talks with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita via video call, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During Tuesday’s meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation between the two countries, and ways to enhance and develop them in all fields, SPA said.
They also discussed regional developments and issues of common interest, it added.
The Moroccan Foreign Ministry said Bourita reiterated that Morocco backs Saudi Arabia in its right to defend its stability, territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens.
He also supported Riyadh’s initiative to resolve the crisis in Yemen.
