The Saudi-led Arab coalition intercepted and destroyed on Sunday morning an armed drone fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards the Kingdom.
The aircraft was targeting the Khamis Mushait region, said the coalition.
It accused the Houthis of committing grave violations of international humanitarian law by attempting to target civilians.
It stressed that the sources of threats are being firmly dealt with to protect civilians and civilian locations from the hostile attacks.
