Saudi defenses shot down on Thursday an armed drone fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen against the Kingdom.
The aircraft was aimed towards the southern city of Khamis Mushait, reported Al Arabiya.
The Saudi-led Arab coalition said it was taking the necessary operational measures to protect civilians from the hostile attacks.
It also condemned the Houthis’ ongoing offensive against Yemen’s Marib province.
The attacks against civilians in Marib violate all humanitarian values, it stressed.
