Saudi Arabia sent a new batch of medical aid to Tunisia to support the medical sector in the country.
Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Ali Al-Sager handed over the medical aid which included high-performance oxygen generators to provide oxygen to several hospitals and health centers.
Al-Sager affirmed that this assistance comes as extension to the aid that the Kingdom has provided to Tunisia during the past months, stressing Saudi Arabia's efforts to help Tunisia overcome the COVID pandemic.
For his part, Tunisian Minister of Health Ali Al-Mrabet, Advisor to President Walid Al-Hajam, and officials in the presidency and military health praised the Kingdom's distinguished efforts, which confirm the depth of the relationship between the two countries.
The reception ceremony was attended by Tunisian Minister of Health, Presidential Adviser Al-Hajam, Director of Military Health Lt.-Gen. Mustafa Al-Ferjani, and Adm. Atallah, security adviser to the Presidency.
