The Saudi-led Arab coalition intercepted and downed on Tuesday two armed drones fired by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias in Yemen towards the Kingdom.
The aircraft were aimed at Khamis Mushait.
The coalition accused the Houthis of deliberately aiming the drones at civilian locations in the southern region.
The coalition has thwarted all Houthi drone attacks, it added, while stressing that it was taking the necessary operational measures to protect civilians in line with international humanitarian law.
