New Saudi Ambassadors Sworn in Before King Salman

Saudi ambassadors, newly appointed to several countries, swore the oath before Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, attended the ceremony that was held virtually amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The officials include ambassadors to Bulgaria, Niger, Myanmar, Mauritania, Somalia, Mozambique, Djibouti, Uzbekistan, Senegal and Tanzania.

They swore to be loyal to their religion, king and nation and to protect state secrets and the Kingdom’s interests.

Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah was also present at the ceremony.

Saudi Commander of the Joint Forces Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman met in Riyadh with US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin and his accompanying delegation, SPA reported.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in Yemen and reiterated their commitment to advancing the peace process to achieve security and stability for the Yemeni people.
Fagin expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom's contributions to relief and development projects in Yemen.
