Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah Monday met with Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen Hans Grundberg at Bayan Palace.

During the meeting, they discussed recent developments in Yemen and international efforts to find a political solution to the crisis in the troubled country, state news agency KUNA reported.

The Foreign Minister reiterated Kuwait's commitment to stand with the unity and stability of Yemen and restoring its security and safety.

He also stressed Kuwait's support for international efforts, Saudi Arabia's peace initiative in Yemen and relevant Security Council resolutions, including Resolution No. 2216, to end the crisis in Yemen and tackle the deteriorating humanitarian situation.

For his part, Grundberg hailed Kuwait's efforts in supporting Yemeni people and its ventures towards achieving security and stability in Yemen.

The 27th Saudi relief plane operated by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), landed at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport on Monday, the Saudi Press Agency said.
The plane carried essential supplies, including food, shelter equipment, and medical aid.
The assistance underscores Saudi Arabia's longstanding commitment to supporting the Lebanese people during times of crisis.
