Saudi Arabia Announces 5,591 New COVID-19 Cases

The Ministry of Health announced 5,591 new COVID-19 cases and 5,238 recoveries in the Kingdom during the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that the number of critical cases reached 540.

Ministry data showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 638,327, while the recovery tally increased to 584,050.

The ministry reported two new deaths, bringing the fatalities tally in Saudi Arabia to 8,914.

The tenth Saudi relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), arrived at Damascus International Airport in Syria on Monday.

The aircraft is carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies.

This assistance is an extension of Saudi Arabia's continuous humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support those in need worldwide during crises.
