Saudi Leadership Thanks Interior Minister for Success of Hajj Plans

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent cables to Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, thanking him on the success of this year’s annual Hajj pilgrimage.

King Salman highlighted the success of the Hajj, thanking God Almighty that it was held smoothly.

He also credited the success to the parties that implemented the security and services plans and health protocols.

Crown Prince Mohammed praised the hard work carried out and dedication shown by all sides to serve the pilgrims.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer on Sunday morning in Makkah alongside worshippers who filled the Grand Mosque and its surrounding courtyards.

Also joining the Crown Prince in the prayer were Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, along with princes, scholars, ministers, and senior officials.

After the prayer, the Crown Prince received the princes, scholars and senior officials who extended their greetings on the occasion of the Eid.

Everyone joined the Crown Prince for a breakfast banquet.
