Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud visited on Thursday Qasr al-Hukm area in the capital Riyadh, which includes the headquarters of the Riyadh region and al-Masmak Palace.

The King toured the building, during which he reviewed the long history of achievements while he was the governor of Riyadh. 

He then visited al-Masmak Palace, its surroundings, mosque, Diwaniyah (council), main courtyard and other open courtyards, and the upper floor, and saw some of the popular heritage pieces.  

The Palace is a historical and heritage landmark. Its construction started during the reign of Imam Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud in 1865. It represents the story of King Abdulaziz in unifying the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

The King was received upon his arrival by Riyadh Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, and Undersecretary of Riyadh region Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz al-Sudairy, in addition to a number of officials. 

The King was accompanied by Prince Mansour bin Saud, Prince Khalid bin Saad bin Fahd, Prince Sattam bin Saud, Prince Faisal bin Saud bin Mohammed, Al-Baha Governor Prince Dr. Hossam bin Saud, Advisor to the King Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sattam, Madinah Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman, Prince Saud bin Salman, and Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdul Ilah.

The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the attacks targeting the UAE Embassy and the residence of its head of mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.

In a statement, the Muslim World League reiterated its firm rejection and condemnation of attacks and acts of sabotage against civilian and diplomatic facilities and their personnel, emphasizing that such acts constitute violations of international laws and agreements that guarantee their protection.

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a cable of congratulations to Anutin Charnvirakul on his re-election as Prime Minister of Thailand, the Saudi Press Agency reported Sunday.

The Crown Prince expressed his best wishes for continued success to the Thai prime minister and for further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held separate phone calls on Sunday with his counterparts from Pakistan, Kuwait and Latvia to review the latest developments in the region, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.

In a phone call with Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, the two ministers discussed ongoing developments and stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation.

In a separate phone call with Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Saudi Minister discussed the developments in the region and the joint efforts undertaken in this regard.

The Saudi minister also discussed the latest developments with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braze.
