Gargash highlighted the UAE’s support for Yemen’s people and Presidential Leadership Council, as well as Grundberg’s efforts to reach a permanent ceasefire and facilitate serious dialogue aimed at resolving the crisis in the country and achieve stability and prosperity, reported the UAE state news agency (WAM).

The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) tweeted that Grundberg discussed with Emirati officials, including Minister of State Khalifa Almarar, “the need for concerted regional support to reach a sustainable political settlement in Yemen that can secure a future of lasting peace, security and development.”

Also in the UAE, the envoy met with deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council Aidarous al-Zubaidi.
