The Saudi government tackled on Tuesday the latest international developments, reiterating its condemnation of attempts to burn the holy Quran.
It stressed the need to consolidate the values of dialogue, tolerance and respect and reject everything that would spread hatred and extremism.

The ministers reviewed the separate telephone talks held between Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with China’s President Xi Jinping, French President Emmanuel Macron and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. The talks focused on bolstering cooperation with Saudi Arabia.
After the cabinet meeting, Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari said the ministers reviewed the outcomes of the 155th Session of the Ministerial Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
They discussed the developments in joint Gulf action and regional and international political issues.
The cabinet authorized the Minister of Energy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy - or his deputy - to discuss and sign with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) a draft agreement between King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy and the IAEA regarding the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Program.
It approved a memorandum on granting Saudi Arabia the status of a dialogue partner in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
