Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks in Jeddah on Thursday with White House Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk.

They discussed ways to bolster joint coordination to serve the interests of their countries. They also covered regional and international developments.

Prince Faisal later met with Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wopke Hoekstra.

The talks focused on bilateral relations and cooperation between their countries and ways to support and develop them to serve common interests.

They exchanged views on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and international efforts to resolve it through political means to achieve world security and peace.

They also tackled several regional and international developments of interest.

Later, Prince Faisal held an official banquet in honor of Hoekstra and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Islamic Arts Biennale 2023.

Hoekstra toured the area and was briefed on the cultural efforts made to enrich the experience of worshippers at the holy Mosque in Makkah and on the Kingdom's cultural history.

The 14th relief plane, operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), flew from the King Khalid International Airport bound for Damascus International Airport, the Saudi Press Agency said on Monday.

The plane carries food, shelter and medical supplies, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s longstanding commitment to supporting other countries in times of need.

The assistance aims to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people during these critical times.
