Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Hatem Al-Bakri, commended the generous gesture of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to host 1,000 Palestinian pilgrims from the families of martyrs, injured and prisoners to participate in the 2023 Hajj.
The gesture is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Pilgrim Experience Program (PEP), supervised by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance.
In remarks to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Sheikh Al-Bakri hailed the Kingdom’s generous support to Palestinians in all fields, especially pilgrims, voicing gratitude for Riyadh’s ongoing efforts to facilitate their performing of the Hajj rituals.
