Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud covered the cost of sacrificial animals for 4,951 people from 92 countries who performed Hajj this year under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the Saudi Press Agency reported Wednesday.
The gesture is yet another proof of the King's generosity, SPA quoted Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh as saying.
Al Al-Sheikh, who is also the general supervisor of the program, said that the continuous generosity shown by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques attests to his care for his Muslim brothers and his keenness to cover all their needs and help them perform Hajj.
